These lights were simple to assemble in short time. The lamp shades also had to be assembled so we were surprised when the went together perfectly. Like the foot switch to turn the light on and off. The ability to choose the wattage on the bulb is an added bonus. Lastly, the cord is hidden inside the metal stand so it doesn’t take away from the look of the final product.. Tammy. Grovetown, GA. This two-tone floor lamp brings warmth and architectural presence to any living room, bedroom, or reading nook. A tapered pole in your choice of finish pairs with a contrasting metal accent — brass or polished nickel — for a layered, contemporary look that feels intentional without being fussy. The generously sized white fabric drum shade diffuses light softly across the room, while dual bulb sockets deliver ample brightness for ambient or task lighting. Easy to assemble and simple to maintain with a soft dry cloth.
