Update. I returned this product and rebought it, because in all honesty I do like it, but also bought the outdoor cover recommended by the manufacturer. I still feel an outdoor set shouldn’t need a cover, but I’ll give it a go. I RECOMMEND NOT LEAVING OUT IN THE WEATHER OR BUYING THE COVER. As long as you live in a climate that is 75° year-round this piece is probably fine. After the first rain, all of the teakwood started to delaminate and look about 10 years old. I put the cushions inside over the winter and when I went to put them back out, I noticed that the frame has split in multiple areas, probably due to water getting inside and freezing. Seat is a little low. I had to purchase furniture blocks to raise it up 3". Cushion is very firm. Hope it softens over time.
