I got this table as the last one available and on a slight sale. It’s hard to find a table with this organic shape and stone appearance at a smaller size and under $800, so this one fit the bill. But the shipping packaging was atrocious, just the flimsiest cardboard and styrofoam which was torn up. The table was damaged in shipping, missing a large chunk off one side where it had clearly been dropped. Customer service was able to get me a 20% refund on the order, which seems ridiculously low - it’s not like they’d be able to sell this table for anything if I returned it! But I didn’t want to wait for it to restock (customer service also generously offered to have me ship the table back to them, then to hold on to my money indefinitely while I waited for it to come back in stock which they had no expected date for!!!) so I am working on repairing it. The refund hasn’t even covered the cost of supplies to repair it, much less the labor and hassle involved. Even without the obvious shipping damage, I found some areas where the black paint had chipped off where the base meets the tabletop. So even if you don’t get shipping damage you may have other flaws. I think once it’s repaired it will work in my space, but if I could do it again I wouldn’t buy this one.. Kate.
