Bought these for a client. Very sturdy and comfortable! The metal is an antique distressed bronze. The Fabric has a nice feel to it and is more of an ivory versus pure white. The only issue is that the arm height is actually 36" from the floor to the top of the arm on the end, so the arms are too high to fit under our island countertop. I measured assuming the 34 1/2 arm height in the website details was the top of the arm, not the underside of the arm.
