The Joss & Main Aleja bed arrived well packed with no damage and looks exactly like the picture. We had box springs but it made the mattress too high against the headboard. We added a bunky board and the mattress height is exactly where it should be. We have a Beautyrest Black mattress which is 10" high and fills the frame right to the edges.
