The lamp shade is angled slightly and the top curved metal piece was a different shade of antique brass than the other pieces. Also there was a small dent on the base but customer service was great. The lamp is definitely solid though and of high quality. I love that it is a 3 way bulb (not included). The table has a small usb charging port on it too and is very convenient for a drink to be set on. I would buy this product again and had a great experience with J&M customer service as well..
