The shelves came exactly as pictured and were relatively easy to hang. We did purchase separate hardware to mount into studs, which is the only reason I'm giving this 4 starts instead of 5. This is a handy shelf that is advertised as a floating shelf. There are two problems with it. First, I don’t think it’s truly a floating shelf since the brackets that attach to the wall are conspicuous. Second, the actual shelf itself is slightly bowed and slopes downward a bit toward the middle. The bow isn’t super obvious, but it’s noticeable. For these reasons I’m giving only 3 stars.. Beth.
