Beautiful colors. Based on price point, this is an excellent rug. It is thin so we used carpet padding. I was hesitant to order because on some of the pictures shown it looked more reddish than terracotta/ orangy, it is terracotta. Also make sure that you don't mind the worn/ faded sections. We had some work done so I was getting a new couch. I had very specific size and material requirements for the couch, so it limited my color choices. I decided to get a new rug as well to tie the change together. This rug helped me accept a darker couch that met the rest of my requirements. Not only does it look great, it's WAY SOFTER than I expected. My fiance said it looked "old and worn" - which was what I was going for, so I'd say it has a true vintage look. I do want to note, as other reviews stated, that the colors are slightly different than in the product photos. It's not black, it's definitely navy, but the rug still has terocotta and beige tones if you want to pull the warm colors. The terocotta blends nicely with my cherry floors (i feel this rug compliments any hardwood color), and I plan on getting some terocotta pillows as well to warm the space up. The cats love to lay on it, and some water spilled on it the other day and it almost had a waterproof effect? I could easily wipe up the water with a towel and the rug was dry. Highly recommend! The rug looks vibrant but still retains its classic beauty. Inspired by antique designs harmoniously mixed bold together, and unexpected color combinations, each detail is soft, highly durable, and never sheds, which makes it as functional as it is beautiful.
After an embarrassingly long search for a rug, this was a total hit! Beautiful colors of green, blue and some gold, and feels good with a rug pad underneath. Neutral but not boring. This rug is beautiful. However, as another reviewer has stated, the aged look on portions of this rug are much lighter than they appear on the listing. I think if we didn’t have this in a room with as many windows that it wouldn’t be as noticeable, unfortunately that isn’t the case for the room we’ve chosen this for. I bought two of these to help soften my downstairs bathroom. We have a terracotta tile (not my taste) on the floors, and I wanted something to help break up the flooring color and provide some nice cushioning underfoot. These are great! Absolutely love this rug! I am not a huge fan of rugs in carpeted areas but this looked absolutely amazing and the price was great. The only snag I ran into is the rug buckledrippled under the weight of the bed. However, this is likely because it is in a carpeted area and the rug is on the thinner side. I slid plywood slats under the bed feet and that lessened the rippling, slightly. I have a thicker rug in a carpeted area that did not ripple so adjust your expectations.
