Woven from durable polypropylene and soft polyester, it has a subtle fringe that elevates its charm. Its medium pile is soft underfoot and its machine made construction ensures that it’s durable enough for any space.

After an embarrassingly long search for a rug, this was a total hit! Beautiful colors of green, blue and some gold, and feels good with a rug pad underneath. Neutral but not boring. Pleasantly surprised by the feel of this rug. It’s a satiny, smooth feel. Doesn’t really feel like a rug. It definitely needs a rug pad underneath our hardwood floors so it won’t move. I’m surprised it’s called “tangerine” bc it’s not a light color like that. It’s more burnt orange/brown. The other color is a light bluish gray. I love the pattern.. Sheila. Before I purchased the Rosemarie Oriental area rug (Gold/Sand; 8 x 10) I read all the reviews and hoped that we'd love it when it was delivered. Now that our rug has arrived, I will say this: Is the rug thin? Yes. Does it look lighter colored when looking at in one direction versus darker colored when looking at it in the opposite direction? Yes. Does the rug look metallic? No. (Not to me.) Do the edges curl up? No. (Give it about 2 weeks and the edges will start to flatten out.) Is it overpriced for what it is? We were looking at 8x10 rugs that were $1k and over and we just couldn't shell out that much money for a rug; so by comparison this rug was affordable and in our price range. Are teeny bits of the rug bald? Yes. HOWEVER, we love it! We already had a rug pad, so that took care of the thinness. I don't mind the rug looking different shades based on the direction that you are looking at it because no one ever stands on the other side of the room that has a wall and zero foot traffic. The tiny bald spots in the rug give it a distressed vintage look which we like. The rug is made of polypropylene and seems stain-proof. So far my kids have dropped three drinks on it in the past two weeks and it's been easy to clean. (THANK JEEBUS!) Unlike other reviewers, I think the rug is pretty soft under my feet. Now: Do I wish the edges of the rug were more reinforced? Yes. Do I wish it were a smidge thicker and substantial? Yes. But overall, we still like the rug. This rug is beautiful. However, as another reviewer has stated, the aged look on portions of this rug are much lighter than they appear on the listing. I think if we didn’t have this in a room with as many windows that it wouldn’t be as noticeable, unfortunately that isn’t the case for the room we’ve chosen this for.
