I am very happy with this purchase. I have tried 3 other places for on line rugs and they were all awful experiences for mainly a moldy odor reason that could not be corrected. I found Joss & Main and reluctantly tried again, but with friends telling me their great experience, I proceeded with the order. This carpet is made very well, it's soft and cozy and looks perfect in my foyer. Best of all...no bad odor! I just ordered a runner now for the mud room. I will definitely be shopping here again!. Beautiful colors. Based on price point, this is an excellent rug. It is thin so we used carpet padding. I was hesitant to order because on some of the pictures shown it looked more reddish than terracotta/ orangy, it is terracotta. Also make sure that you don't mind the worn/ faded sections. Exactly what I wanted! Quality is great. To anyone curious about the pilling/large quantities of excess fibers - it’s wool and there is no way around that with any wool rug. It always takes a while for the top layer to wear off and you just have to be ready to use the vacuum for a little while! This is my 3rd large wool rug from Joss and they are worth the cost.. Megan. The rug in the laundry room is low enough profile that we have no problem opening the door over the rug. I chose these grass rugs because of their environmental sustainability. They are rough for walking on with bare feet, but I don't mind. The 18 ft runner has a jog in it about 3 ft from the end. In other words it's not straight. And the fabric border is not sewn down in a couple places. The small area rug has three places where the grass sticks up. I took pictures thinking I might write a complaint to the company but decided that was not worth my time. Very happy with this purchase. The rug is thicker than I expected and looks great under my dining room table. A chair is not going to slide on this rug, but that was expected. I haven't had much issue with fraying, although this room doesn't get much traffic.
