The cream is more taupe and the charcoal can look gray depending on the direction from which it is viewed. Can’t speak to its durability but it seems decently made.. joann. Exactly what I wanted! Quality is great. To anyone curious about the pilling/large quantities of excess fibers - it’s wool and there is no way around that with any wool rug. It always takes a while for the top layer to wear off and you just have to be ready to use the vacuum for a little while! This is my 3rd large wool rug from Joss and they are worth the cost.. Megan. A great addition to our space. The color is just as the website photos depicted, and we really love the design. I wish it would've been slightly larger- a true 8x10. We have purchased 4 Chris Loves Julia × Loloi rugs (2 this order, and 2 previously) and the new rugs are replacing the older ones.
