4 1/2 hours to put together!!!! The color ‘white’ on the website is more of a beige and the fabric looks almost linen-y. The hydraulic works well and there’s a ton of storage. Note that the base in the bed is not that sturdy and you won’t be able to put anything heavy in it. You absolutely will need 2 people to put this together. The bed sits much higher than what is shown in the photo. This bed does not sit like a lower profile/platform bed. The actual quality of the bed is great but the description was misleading.. Came in 4 large boxes. Well packaged and overall pretty easy to put together. High quality and looks great! Love the light gray color. I also love the under-mattress storage. I opted to not use the provided pieces to box in the under-mattress storage to allow for a few more inches of space (I slid them under the bed for now though). I ordered this bed because I wanted a modern look to my bedroom. I was nervous when ordering this because of how light the color is and I was use to buying furniture local where I could see it in person. All my worry was for nothing. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the sturdiness of the platform itself. It’s solid and doesn’t move or squeak getting in and out of bed. The color is beautiful modern minimalist look. The fabric is soft and easy and to clean. You don’t need a box spring for this bed however I had one brand new and used it anyways. I love this cloud like bed and get many compliments.. Megan .
