This area rug offers the cozy, lived-in look of a vintage heirloom but with the durability – and affordable price – of a modern accent piece. It's made from polyester using a power loom and is backed with canvas for added structure. We love its bold hues of denim, green, burnt orange, tan, and cream, plus the distressed details that add even more versatility. This area rug has a medium 0.28" pile height that provides a little bit of extra cushion under foot. To help reduce shifting and sliding, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad.
I ordered the 9x12 Saturmino after searching all over for days for something subtle that worked in our color scheme. My main goal was to buy an affordable, vintage-look/faded, subtle rug that didn’t smell. I cannot stand any carpet products that off-gas chemicals. This rug has ZERO odors. Completely smell-free! I am so pleased with this purchase. I have it in my master bedroom under a king-size bed — I needed to cover an old permanent ink stain on the carpet near our desk area, so the bigger 9x12 was a perfect fit. Because this rug lays over top of existing bedroom carpet I am pleased that this rug lays very flat; I didn’t have any problems with corners coming up, no one is tripping on it; it rests very low and tight against the floor. It’s colors are true to the product photo on the website, subtle and faded and vintage-distressed look. Again, please note this rug is very low pile; I like that this rug is low pile, it feels good on bare feet. I don’t like a super-plush thick carpet anyway, and since this is being used over our bedroom carpet the low pile is important to me. This would go great in high-use areas like at a beach house, I also think it will stand up just fine against our dogs — but I would think cats might be too tempted to scratch on it because of the groovy texture of the low pile. (Delivery was quick and had no issues; the rug isn’t too heavy which is nice; it arrived rolled and sealed in thick plastic; no folds, no creases.) I would buy again.. Al P.. USA. 2021-08-22 08:44:32
