The rug in the laundry room is low enough profile that we have no problem opening the door over the rug. I chose these grass rugs because of their environmental sustainability. They are rough for walking on with bare feet, but I don't mind. The 18 ft runner has a jog in it about 3 ft from the end. In other words it's not straight. And the fabric border is not sewn down in a couple places. The small area rug has three places where the grass sticks up. I took pictures thinking I might write a complaint to the company but decided that was not worth my time.
