I needed a flush mount bigger than 15". This is a full 24". I wanted a high end look that didn't become the focus of the room and didn't cost a bundle for a guest room. This was it and the price is right. The linen shade is very neutral...not grayed out or bright white. It's a neutral off white. It looks like it cost more than it does which is why I hesitated buying but I'm glad I did. I have not installed yet but I don't forsee any issues. I will update if I have additional information.. This is probably my 20th light fixture that I have installed. It is the same as the rest of them. Easy if it's new construction and not so easy if it's an old house.
